GEC board member and chef of African cuisine, Lousie Sano (herself originally from Rwanda) will be cooking up a storm of Tanzanian favoriates and we hope you will bring your family and friends and join us! The event is being held in Buffalo, New York (address and more details here) from 6-8:30pm. There will be african drums for entertainment, a full meal, crafts for children, a ‘Give Back to Girls’ marketplace and more! Wine and beer will also be available.
Proceeds from the event will help us “Roll out the Road for Girls” – an effort to build a 4.5km access road into Kitenga. Every $5.00 raised ‘buys’ one foot of road!! If you can’t join us but would like to help -GIVE HERE.
